This season the bench is full of pieces with a little more weight to them: hand-stamped coin pendants, heavier curb chains and champagne-toned stones that hold low evening light beautifully.
Each design starts as a hand-carved wax, is cast in recycled 14k gold, then filed, set and polished over the better part of a week. Nothing leaves the bench until it has been checked stone-by-stone under the loupe.
Small batches mean when a piece sells through, it is gone — but it also means the necklace you wear was finished by a person whose name is on the assay card in your box.
